High Court asks govt to hand over all overseas returnees to law enforcing agencies

The High Court on Thursday ordered the civil aviation and tourism ministry to hand over all overseas returnees to law enforcing agencies in a bid to keep them in quarantine to curb the spread of coronavirus in the country. The HC bench of Justice Mujibur Rahman Miah and Justice Mohiuddin Shamim passed the order following the writ petition filed by Supreme Court lawyer Eunus Ali Akond on March 15.
