The Bangladesh Public Service Commission, PSC, has published a schedule to resume the postponed viva voce of the 44th Bangladesh Civil Service, BCS, exams.

According to the schedule, the viva voce will begin on December 22, said a press release on Tuesday, December 3.

In the first phase, schedule of the oral exam for only technical or professional cadre posts has been published, the release said.

Earlier on July 21, the PSC postponed the viva voce of the 44th BCS, which began on May 8, amid the violence centring the quota reform movement, and on July 7, the commission suspended rest tests for an indefinite period.

In a meeting on November 18, the constitutional body also scrapped the oral exam of 3,930 candidates who sit for it till the date, saying all the 11,732 candidates who passed the written exam of 44th BCS will be called for the viva voce again.
