Online Report : Police early Saturday arrested six youths for gang raping a teenage girl at Bablatola village in Faridpur`s Bhanga upazila.

The victim girl is now under the custody of Bhanga police. She complained that she was called by the youths for making a TikTok video.

The police station OC Moksedur Rahman said the arrested youths confessed to their guilt of rape during initial quizzing.

The case is under process, he added.

According to police and the people of the area, the victim is a content creator. On December 31, she was called by TikToker Akram Khan at Bablatola village under Chumurdi union to make a new video. When the girl went there, Akram and two of his accomplishes kept the girl confined at a house. Then at first Akram raped her in that house.

Later, Akram rented a house near Bablatola bazar. At an early hours of Saturday (January 4), he alongwith his accomplishes gang raped the girl in that house.

When the news came to light, the teenager was rescued and police able to arrest Akram and five others.
