Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis has announced an 11-day programme in Dhaka to press home their five-point demands.
The plans were outlined in a statement signed by party chief Maulana Mamunul Haque and Secretary General Maulana Jalaluddin on Tuesday.
The party will hold mass outreach across the country from October 1-9, followed by a mass procession in Dhaka on October 10 and submission of memorandums to deputy commissioners across the country on October 12.
``The July Charter and the five-point demand are not just the programme of the Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis, but a life-long demand of every citizen, regardless of party, ideological or religious affiliations. This is the only way to ensure freedom, sovereignty, Islamic values and the security of the people`s fundamental rights.``
The party added that they will announce more `strict programme` if the demands are not met.
