Three members of a family, including a five-year-old girl, sustained burn injuries in gas cylinder explosion at their house in Savar`s Ashulia.

The incident happened at about 6:30AM when tried to lit the gas stove of the house at Durgapur Chalabazar area.

Injured Md Jahangir, 40, works at a medicine factory; his wife Beauty Begum, 35, works at a leather factory; and daughter Tanha were first taken to Savar Enam Medical College Hospital. But later, shifted to National Institute of Burn And Plastic Surgery in the capital.

The residents of the area informed that they hard a big bang of the explosion and rushed to the house and took the couple and their daughter to the hospital.
