Online Desk : Dhaka Metropolitan Police`s (DMP) Detective Branch (DB) has arrested six individuals for shooting a gold trader and robbed him of about 200 bhori of gold and Tk 100,000 in cash in Dhaka`s Banasree area on February 23.

DMP Commissioner Sheikh Mohammad Sajjad Ali confirmed the information on Saturday (March 8).

The DMP Commissioner said that six people have been arrested in connection with the robbery. DB police also have recovered the stolen gold ornaments and illegal firearms from their possessions.

A press conference will be held at the DMP Media Center this afternoon, where further details will be provided, he also mentioned.
