| A truck driver was killed and another injured after a truck hit their standing vehicle at Louhajang upazila in Munshiganj district on Friday.
The accident took place in front of the Padma Bridge under North Police Station in the upazila in the morning.
The deceased was identified as Hafizur Rahman, 40, hailed from Satkhira district.
The accident ccurred when a truck hit another standing truck on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway, leaving its driver Hafizur, who was repairing the truck, dead on the spot and injuring its helper, said Dewan Azad Hossain, station officer of Srinagar Fire Service.
