| Two Bangladeshi nationals were shot dead by India`s Border Security Force (BSF) at the Maheshpur border in Jhenaidah early Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Mohammad Mikail (22), son of Abul Kalam from Gopalpur village, and Md. Obaidul (23), son of Hanif Ali.
Easmin Manira, Maheshpur Upazila Executive Officer, confirmed the matter.
Locals heard gunshots from the Indian side near Jadabpur village and later discovered the bodies. Maheshpur Upazila Executive Officer Yasmin Monira has confirmed the incident.
