Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus left Rome for home on Sunday (April 27), a day after attending the funeral mass of Pope Francis at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City.
He departed from Rome Airport in Italy on a flight on Sunday (local time).
Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, confirmed the information.
Earlier, on Saturday (April 26), the Chief Adviser attended the funeral mass of Pope Francis at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City.
Yunus had left Dhaka on April 21 to attend the Earth Summit in Doha, Qatar. After a four-day visit there, he traveled to Italy to attend Pope Francis` funeral.
