Gas cylinder blast leaves 5 injured in Gazipur

Online Report : Five members of a family sustained burn injuries in a gas cylinder explosion in Gazipur on Sunday night.

The incident took place around 10:45 PM the Joydebpur area in the district.

The victims were identified as Parveen, 35, Saima, 30, Taslima, 30, Tanjila, 10, and one-year-old Ayan.

Confirming the matter, Dr. Shaon Bin Rahman, resident surgeon of the National Burn Unit said that the injured were now receiving treatment at the emergency unit of the hospital.

They were all in critical condition, he added.
