Remittance inflow rises 23.7% in first 17 days of September

Bangladesh witnessed a year-on-year growth of 23.7 percent in remittance inflows, reaching US$1,770 million in the first seventeen days of September, according to the latest data released by Bangladesh Bank.

In the same period last year, remittance inflows stood at $1,430 million.

From July to September 17, 2025, expatriates sent a total of $6,669 million in remittances, up from $5,568 million during the same period in the previous fiscal year.
