PM calls for collective efforts to build desired state

(BSS)- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today called upon people including patriotic citizens, business community, young entrepreneurs and researchers to come forward and work together to build a prosperous and desired Bangladesh.

“The present government needs you to come forward, and the state needs you. So, let us all work together to build the state we desire,” he said, seeking cooperation from entrepreneurs, business leaders, and researchers.

The Prime Minister made the call while inaugurating the ‘Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026’ in the capital this morning.

Highlighting the role of innovators and business leaders in the country’s overall progress, Tarique Rahman said, “Everyone must come forward with innovative ideas and capabilities to meet the present needs of the state and government. The government will always stand by entrepreneurs and researchers with full support.”

Praising the speakers for their insightful presentations, particularly Dr Anisuzzaman for highlighting key issues on innovation, the Prime Minister said these had largely outlined the country’s course of action for the days ahead.

“If we can gradually implement the important issues highlighted in the discussion, only then will we be able to achieve our set goals,” he said.

At the end of his speech, the Prime Minister formally inaugurated the ‘Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026’.

Science and Technology Minister Faqir Mahbub Anam, Prime Minister’s Adviser on Posts, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Science and Technology Rehan Asif Asad, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Science and Technology M Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu, BUET Professor Dr Muhammad Anisuzzaman Talukder and Secretary to Science and Technology Md. Anwar Hossain, among others, spoke at the event.

Senior government officials, prominent business leaders, local and foreign innovators and researchers from various sectors attended the event.
