| Desk Report: The Bangladesh Justice Party has strongly condemned a heinous rape and violence incident in Dhamrai, Dhaka, demanding immediate justice for the victim. In a press release, the Bangladesh Justice Party Chairman Dr Syed Zaved Mohammad Salehuddin expressed deep concern over the brutal act, saying it violates women`s rights, human dignity, and the rule of law. "Rape and violence against women are grave crimes against humanity," the statement read. The party demanded the immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of all perpetrators, and called for comprehensive support for the victim and her family, including security, medical treatment, and legal aid. The Justice Party also criticized statements by local representatives and law enforcement officials, saying they reflect a failure of responsibility and raise concerns about institutional negligence. The party urged Hindu community leaders to dissociate themselves from the perpetrators and stand for justice, and reiterated its demand for the execution of OC Pradeep, convicted in the murder of Major (Retd.) Sinha Rashed Khan. The Justice Party vowed to stand for justice, women`s dignity, and the rule of law, calling for an independent investigation, swift action against perpetrators, and accountability for negligent officials.
