A fire broke out at a warehouse storing agricultural products in the BSCIC industrial area of Mymensingh Sadar upazila on Friday morning.
The fire started around 10:45 AM and quickly spread to a nearby bakery, said Motiur Rahman, Deputy Director of the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) in Mymensingh.
Upon receiving information, six firefighting units from different stations rushed to the scene and are currently working to bring the blaze under control.
"The cause of the fire is yet to be determined," Rahman stated, adding that further details, including the extent of damage and potential casualties, will be shared after investigations are complete.
Authorities are urging locals to avoid the area to ensure smooth operations for the firefighting teams.
