Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) has embarked on ambitious `July March for Nation-Building` covering 40 districts from 1-29 July, marking unprecedented grassroots mobilisation effort across Bangladesh.

This calculated political caravan represents strategic database building and voter mapping exercise ahead of potential 2026 electoral campaigns.

March commenced at Pirganj with symbolic visit to Shaheed Abu Sayeed`s grave, progressing through northern districts including Rangpur, Kurigram, and Lalmonirhat.

Party targets regional grievances like flood vulnerability, char land struggles, and agricultural subsidy inequality whilst challenging traditional vote banks held by larger parties.

Journey continues through North Bengal`s education hubs in Bogura and Rajshahi, addressing student unemployment and rural urbanisation concerns.

Southern coastal regions from Satkhira to Barguna will focus on climate justice and cyclone shelter improvements, targeting disaster-prone communities dependent on government relief.

Politically sensitive stops include Gopalganj, Sheikh Hasina`s home district, and Chattogram`s port areas where NCP aims to stir anti-incumbency sentiment among workers and small businesses.

Eastern frontier districts will emphasise political violence history and electoral fairness, whilst Sylhet region addresses diaspora issues and remittance flows.

March concludes in Dhaka via north-central districts, with rhetoric intensifying around corruption, youth unemployment, and press freedom.

They will hold the `July Memorial Exhibition` on June 30 at 8 PM at Shahbagh Intersection. Convener Nahid Islam will inaugurate the event, organized by NCP’s Shahbagh Zone, Dhaka South.

Beyond surface-level outreach, this represents test-run for street mobilisation and capacity measurement before potential election-year restrictions.
