Ten new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Chattogram in the past 24 hours, although no deaths have occurred during this period, according to Chattogram Civil Surgeon`s Office.
The Civil Surgeon’s Office confirmed the development in a statement issued on Monday.
With these new infection, the total number of COVID-19 cases reported in the district has risen to 145.
According to District Civil Surgeon, 219 samples were tested in the last 24 hours in 12 labs in Chittagong.
Apart from this, out of the total 7 deaths, 3 are men and 4 are women.
Health officials have urged public to stay alert and continue adhering to health and safety guidelines, as the virus remains present in the community, though at a relatively low rate.
