US Secretary of State Marco Rubio held a telephone converstation with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Monday evening, highlighting the strong bilateral ties between the two nations.
According to a press release from US Department of State, the Secretary and Chief Advisor affirmed their shared commitment to deepening economic ties between the United States and Bangladesh and to enhancing security and stability throughout the Indo-Pacific region
The conversation, lasted around 15 minutes, took place at 7:30 PM Bangladesh time, confirmed Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser Shafiqul Alam, describing it as warm, friendly, and constructive.
“This reflects the excellent bilateral relationship between Bangladesh and the United States,” Alam said in his facebook post.
